Members of DIS.connected are currently recruiting for the following studies.

Please note: the research projects below are being conducted by trusted academic third parties and not by DIS.connected directly. All studies advertised have been awarded ethical approval from their institution, but you should carefully check the information provided by the research study before deciding to take part.

This study looks at memory processes in dissociative identity disorder. There are a number of tasks including a qualitative interview, questionnaires, a short experimental task, and the option for two MRI scans. Participants do not have to complete all tasks to be eligible. 

Participants should have a DID diagnosis based on the SCID-D or DDIS criteria.

This study asks registered psychologists and psychiatrists to participate in a 10-minute survey about experiences and needs related to training on trauma.

This online study (anyone in the US; $30) includes a clinical interview; self-assessments; and an interview on experiences of depersonalization.

People in the Nashville area may also participate in our in-person study visit which could include cognitive testing, virtual reality, and a MRI scan depending on your preference ($20/hour).

This study focuses on pain and psychological symptoms after traumatic experiences in the German-speaking area.

Inclusion criteria are a minimum age of 18 years and a maximum age of 65 years, good German language skills, and at least one lifetime traumatic experience.
